In spring 2024, Taft Theatre brought Dr. Seuss’s beloved characters to life in Seussical the Musical. Audiences joined Horton, the Whos, the Cat in the Hat, and many more in a colorful journey of imagination, friendship, and perseverance. This vibrant production showcased the creativity and talent of our company while celebrating the timeless message that “a person’s a person, no matter how small.”
Taft Theatre’s 2024 production of Tartuffe reimagined Molière’s famous satire of hypocrisy and manipulation through a bold and playful staging set in a villa-like environment. Performed in the Black Box theatre, the production combined strong ensemble acting, stylized design elements, and sharp comedic timing to tell the story of a manipulative impostor who deceives a wealthy family. The show ran October 24–27, 2024, and became a sold-out success for the program.
