The musical theatre strand is a collection of classes we recommend our students take if they plan on pursuing a career in the performing arts with a fixation on musical theatre!
Musical Theatre Class:
Perfect class to start–-or continue–-your musical theatre journey. Lead by Mrs. Pyle and Mrs. Bulen, you will learn dancing, singing, and acting skills in this class and put them to use with our end of the year spring musical!

Dance Class:
In this class you will learn dancing fundamentals. We recommend students take this class in order to fill their PE credit, this will also get you to dance more often and help improve dancing skills.

Choir Class:
In this class you will learn singing and music fundamentals. We recommend students take this class in order to understand to read sheet music and music theory, as it is crucial for the strand.

Theatre Arts Class:
*Musical Theatre - An audition is required for the Musical Theatre courses. A mandatory parent info meeting is held on April 9, 2026 to discuss the audition process and the class requirements. You will sign up for your audition slot at the parent meeting.
*Choir - Audition & Performance required for Mixed Choir courses in years 1-4 Choir.
The acting strand is a recommended sequence of classes for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the performing arts with a focus on acting.

Theatre production focuses on the directing, producing and design, side of theatre. Working both on the soft and hard skills required to create theatre in both acting and directing. We recommend acting students take this class if they are interested in deepening their knowledge and skills in the theatre framework.
The technical theatre strand is a recommended sequence of classes for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the performing arts with a focus on technical theatre.
Technical Theatre Class:
Technical Theatre is a project-based course on designing, constructing, and implementing technical aspects of theater, including lighting, audio, makeup, and costume design. Students can enhance their skills through activities beyond school hours. No prior experience is required.
Theatre Production Class:
