I have been teaching for eighteen years, and as Taft’s Theatre Co-Director in Acting, I’m thrilled to be working with so many talented and hardworking students. I’m a San Antonio native and graduated from the North East School of the Arts in 2000. From there, I attended the University of Southern California, where I graduated cum laude from the School of Dramatic Arts (click USC to check out my alma mater!). After graduation, I worked as an actress in Los Angeles, performing weekly at The Improv Space, until 2008 when I returned to San Antonio and began my career as an educator. Teaching is my true passion, and I feel privileged to work with the students of Taft Theatre every day!(210) 397-6000 EXT:
I am a proud San Antonio native—born and raised—with a whole lot of love for my hometown. I graduated from Texas State University, and is so proud to be a Bobcat! This year marks my 8th year teacher, and I’ve spent every one of them right here at Taft High School. Why? Because I love being a Raider and is beyond proud to be part of the Taft Theatre Family. Whether you’re new or returning, nervous or excited, this is your space too. ALL are welcome here, and I mean that with my whole heart. I’m thrilled to have you apart of Taft Theatre and can’t wait to make this year one to remember.(210) 397-6000 EXT: 3207
I am originally from Zapata, TX and involved myself in many extracurriculars such as Mariachi, Theatre, Prose Interpretation, Student Council, and even being the mascot for the Zapata Hawks! I pursued theatre in college and now produce work around Texas, ultimately gradutating with a BFA in Theatre from Texas State Universtity (Go Bobcats!) and remain involved in theatre over the summer as a camp counselor! I love chihuahuas, comedy, and Real Housewives.
